Chabad Organization Delivers Holiday Kits to Lone Soldiers and Bereaved Families

The Chabad Lubavitch organization has completed a significant logistical initiative to distribute special holiday kits containing the "Four Species" (Arba'at HaMinim) to hundreds of lone soldiers serving in the IDF and hundreds of widows and orphans across Israel. The kits, which include high-quality etrogs and lulavs, are intended to enable recipients to celebrate the Sukkot holiday with joy, especially those far from family or facing difficult circumstances.

Volunteers from the organization delivered these kits directly to the soldiers' bases and residences, as well as to the homes of widows and orphans. This effort aims to provide spiritual and traditional support during the holiday season, in addition to the organization's regular financial and material aid.

Rabbi Sholom Duchman, head of the organization, stated that the initiative is driven by a deep sense of mission, following the directives of the Rebbe of Lubavitch. The primary goal is to reach everyone in need, particularly soldiers on the front lines, allowing them to fulfill the holiday commandments with happiness.

The operation was coordinated by Mordechai Botnik and Shay Wiesel for the lone soldiers' wing, and Rachel Merton managed the widows and orphans' section. The initiative was supported by the Lerner family.
