President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal opened the President's Residence's sukkah to the Israeli public in Jerusalem on Tuesday. This year's open sukkah is themed "Israeli Spirit - A Journey Between Culture and Sports for a Shared Israeli Tomorrow," in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

Before welcoming the crowds, the President and his wife toured the various stations and complexes set up for the event. The President invited all Israeli citizens to come and celebrate.

"We are happy and excited to welcome the masses of the House of Israel in the spirit and sign of wonderful Israeli culture. I want the children of Israel who come here to feel what Israeli culture is and draw strength and inspiration from it. There is nothing like the open sukkah, which is meant to unite all the people of Israel," Herzog stated. He emphasized the sukkah's role in uniting the nation.
