Chef Haim Cohen's Oktoberfest Burger and Specials Debut at Dixie
The restaurant Dixie, in collaboration with the beer brand Weihenstephan, is launching a special menu for Oktoberfest, featuring indulgent dishes created by Chef Haim Cohen. The limited-time offerings aim to complement Weihenstephan beers, which will be served on tap and available for tasting.
Among the standout items is an extravagant burger topped with a beer-cheese fondue and crispy onions, priced at 95 shekels. Another highlight is a hot smoked corned beef sandwich on rye bread with mustard for 96 shekels. The menu also includes Frankfurt-style chicken and beef sausages with braised cabbage and garlic-herb home fries for 89 shekels, and a white veal schnitzel with pepper sauce and fried onions for 112 shekels.
Each special dish is paired with a recommended Weihenstephan beer. Customers who purchase a liter of Weihenstephan beer will receive a scratch card with a surprise, while supplies last.
These special menu items will be available at Dixie until the end of October. The collaboration coincides with Weihenstephan's main Oktoberfest event, which kicks off on September 29th and runs until October 1st at Givatayim Square in Tel Aviv. The event will feature beer stands, traditional German food, a sausage-eating contest, Bavarian ceremonies, and performances by Israeli artists.
