Man Killed in Collision With Horse on Galilee Road
A 30-year-old man, Samer Rabah from Dir Hana in the Galilee, died Tuesday morning after his vehicle collided with a horse on Highway 65 near Ilbon. His death was pronounced at the scene.
Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report of the accident at 5:57 AM. Paramedics arriving at the scene described it as "very difficult." They found the driver inside the vehicle with severe injuries, unconscious, without a pulse, and not breathing. Despite medical efforts, his injuries were too severe, and he was declared dead at the location.
Rabah's uncle, Fakhri Rabah, described the incident as a "terrible disaster," remembering his nephew as "an honest and respected person whom everyone loved." He added, "We didn't expect to lose him, but it is fate."
Police accident investigators from the Kinneret region have opened an investigation into the fatal crash. They are actively seeking the owner of the horse that entered the roadway, causing the collision.
