Ben-Gvir Ascends Temple Mount, Declares Jewish Sovereignty

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the Temple Mount on Monday, the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday, to offer prayers and advocate for Israeli sovereignty at the holy site. He stated that despite the pain of the October 7th attacks, the Jewish people are now "masters of the house" on the Temple Mount and in prisons, having turned the lives of terrorists into "hell."

Ben-Gvir referenced Hamas's "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation, asserting that Israel had defeated them, particularly at the Temple Mount. He highlighted actions taken since the October 7th attacks, including distributing weapons and opening emergency readiness squads.

During his prayer, Ben-Gvir prayed for "absolute victory," "complete redemption," the death of all terrorists, and sovereignty at the site, which he described as the most important place for the Jewish people. He concluded by reiterating that Hamas wanted to win, but "we defeated them."
