Driver Caught Driving While Suspended En Route to Community Service

Police in the Menashe region arrested a driver in the area of Baqa al-Gharbiyye who was found to be driving while his license was suspended. The driver was on his way to perform community service hours, which he had been ordered to do for previous traffic violations.

The arrest occurred during an initiative by officers from the ROMAH unit. Upon checking the driver's details, police discovered he was disqualified from driving. Further investigation revealed his destination was the location where he was serving his court-ordered community service.

The driver was taken into custody for questioning by traffic investigators. Following the interrogation, he was detained, and police stated they would request an extension of his arrest from the court based on the findings and investigative needs.

Police emphasized their serious view of driving while suspended and affirmed that enforcement operations against such offenders will continue.
