Police Seize Bulletproof and Modified Vehicles in Yafa an-Naseriyye
Israeli police forces operating in the town of Yafa an-Naseriyye on September 25, 2026, confiscated two vehicles. During a joint operation by Border Police fighters and Northern District police officers, an "operational vehicle" was seized. This vehicle had its original license plates obscured and replaced with forged ones, and authorities suspect it was being prepared for imminent criminal use.
In a separate incident on the same day and in the same town, officers discovered and impounded a jeep. This vehicle had been illegally modified with various equipment, contravening traffic laws, in an attempt to convert it into a bulletproof vehicle.
Both vehicles were transported to a police station for further evidence collection as authorities work to identify their owners. Following legal proceedings, the police are expected to request the permanent confiscation of both vehicles.
