Michal Hakatan's Ex-Partner Maintains Contact with Her Children

Yehuda Buhbut, the ex-partner of Israeli celebrity Michal Hakatan (Michal Ansky), has revealed he remains in contact with her children following their separation over a month ago. In an Instagram Q&A session, Buhbut stated that while his romantic relationship with Michal ended amicably, the bond he formed with her children during their time together has not disappeared.

"The children got into my heart and a real connection was formed between us," Buhbut wrote, acknowledging that the reality has changed and the connection is less than it was. He added, "I make sure to call them occasionally to see that everything is okay, to show them I'm still there for them."

The couple announced their separation on August 20, requesting privacy for their children. The announcement came amidst the filming of a new docu-reality series for "Israel Entertainment" that follows their lives. Filming began when they were still a couple, but the separation occurred during production, significantly altering the narrative captured by the cameras.

Michal Hakatan commented on the series, stating that "life changed the script without asking us" as filming continued through their breakup, documenting moments of pain, crisis, and coping. She described the series as being about "life itself and the changes the two went through."

Michal's daughter, Yuli Weitzman, also addressed the breakup, expressing understanding of her mother's decision and noting that both Michal and Buhbut had discussed the separation with her beforehand and consulted her on how to inform the public.
