Michal Hak'tana's Ex-Boyfriend Discusses Their Split

Actor Yehuda Buchbut, ex-boyfriend of children's entertainer Michal "Hak'tana" Witzman, has spoken publicly for the first time since their separation just over a month ago. Responding to questions on his Instagram Stories, Buchbut confirmed he maintains contact with Witzman's children, whom he grew to love.

"A real connection was formed between us," Buchbut stated, explaining that while their romantic relationship has changed since the breakup, his bond with the children remains. "The children entered my heart and a real connection was formed between us. Obviously, the reality has changed and the connection today is less than it was, and I won't lie. But I make sure to call them occasionally to see that everything is okay and to show them that I am still there for them."

Buchbut and Witzman, who had an eight-month public relationship, announced their separation in early November. They met in November 2025 on the set of a play and quickly became a notable couple, partly due to their age difference. Their joint Instagram statement at the time cited "rumors and questions" as the reason for their announcement, emphasizing that the split was mutual, respectful, and loving. They acknowledged that while they loved each other deeply, they recognized their shared path had reached a point where a different direction was necessary.
