Freed Hostages Celebrate Hamas Terrorist's Elimination

Freed Israeli hostages have expressed elation following the elimination of a Hamas terrorist who allegedly abused them during their captivity in Gaza. Liri Albag, who was held for nearly a year, posted on Instagram that the news of the terrorist's death brought an "insane sense of closure." She described the deceased, identified by the IDF as Hamas commander Muhammad Hamad Muhammad Jabein, as the one who held her and fellow hostage Agam Berger. Albag recounted the severe suffering inflicted by Jabein, stating, "I have so much to tell about him. But today I don't even want to give him another word. Just to smile a huge smile and tell him, rot in hell, you scoundrel."

Albag also recalled a past argument with Jabein about who would end up in hell, adding, "It's fun to know we were right about that too." Another former hostage, Matan Angrest, posted, "How much I waited for this moment. Proud of my brothers in arms who sent you to hell." Zvika Mor, father of freed hostage Eitan Mor, welcomed the news, stating, "We heard this morning with joy that another terrorist who held Eitan was eliminated last week." He added that while the "nest" of terrorists is weakened, it is not gone, and Israel will continue to achieve more.

Aviva and Keith Siegel, also former hostages, noted that this elimination followed closely on the heels of another terrorist involved in their captivity being killed. They emphasized the severe suffering and life-threatening conditions they endured. The former hostages extended their gratitude to Israeli security forces, acknowledging their bravery and dedication in ensuring the safety of Israelis and their own safe return home. They expressed deep appreciation and love for the soldiers, urging them to stay safe and return home unharmed.
