Samaria Region Welcomes Tourists for Sukkot Holiday with Diverse Events

The intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday have begun, with the Samaria region experiencing a significant influx of visitors. Families from across Israel are flocking to the area's natural sites, springs, and heritage locations. A series of family-friendly events and activities are scheduled throughout the holiday.

Key attractions include the Alon Moreh Heritage Center, agricultural farms, and various springs. Visitors can explore "Yedidya" Park in Revava, the "Path of Valor" in Tel Menashe, and the springs of Amit and Kfir. The Alon Moreh center also offers activities like a leadership challenge park.

On Monday and Tuesday, "The Race to a Million" will take place in northern Samaria. This interactive family game involves riddles, field tasks, and barcode scanning, starting at the "Treasures of Samaria" center in Shavei Shomron. Participants can visit various points like Sebastia, Homesh, and Sa-Nur, though completing all stations is not mandatory.

The highlight of the holiday events is the "Samaria March" on Wednesday, September 30th, in the northern Samaria area of Ganim, Kidumim, and Nofim. This event combines a nature walk with a family festival, featuring performances, workshops, inflatables, and children's attractions. Access is via the Gilboa crossing, with shuttle services provided for return.

Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, invited the public to visit, stating, "Samaria awaits you.
