Thousands Flock to Samaria Tourist Sites During Sukkot Holiday

Thousands of travelers and families from across Israel visited tourist sites in the Samaria region on the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday, with crowds gathering at nature spots, heritage centers, parks, and springs. Popular destinations included the Alon Moreh Heritage Center, the Leadership Challenge Park, a new promenade, and various agricultural farms that opened their gates to the public. Nature enthusiasts also flocked to sites like the "Yedidya" Park in Revava, "Shvil HaGvura" (Hero's Trail) in Tal Menashe, Ein Amit, and Ein Kefir.

Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, welcomed the visitors, stating, "The land of Samaria embraces today the many travelers who came to celebrate the Sukkot holiday with us. Our resounding answer to all challenges from within and without is precisely this: to continue traveling, to continue building, and to connect all segments of the people to the land of the Bible. I invite all of Israel to continue coming here in the coming days, to experience and be moved with us."

Holiday events are scheduled to continue throughout the week. On Monday and Tuesday, a "Race to a Million" event will take place in northern Samaria, featuring an interactive navigation game with prizes. Heritage activities are also planned for Mount Gerizim and Sebastia, along with guided tours in Nahal Kana. On Wednesday, the "Samaria March" will be held in northern Samaria, near the communities of Ganim, Kedumim, and Nofim, offering a nature trail, performances, activity zones, inflatables, and family attractions. Access to this event will be via the Gilboa crossing.
