Father and Son Arrested for Stealing 16 Beehives in Northern Israel
Israeli police, in cooperation with the Honey Producers Council and the Ministry of Agriculture, have arrested a father and son suspected of stealing 16 beehives. The arrests followed a covert investigation into reports of hive thefts in the kibbutzim of Ein Harod and Hogla. Investigators gathered evidence using advanced technological means.
During the investigation, 16 beehives were discovered in the Megiddo Forest area, believed to be the stolen property. Police confirmed that some of these hives were indeed taken from the aforementioned kibbutzim.
The suspects, a 66-year-old father and his 36-year-old son, were apprehended in the village of Al-Musheirifa in Wadi Ara. All 16 recovered beehives have been returned to their owners.
