Religious Zionist Communities Celebrate Sukkot Festivities

Religious Zionist yeshivas and communities across Israel held celebrations for "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" on Saturday night. The festivities, which mark the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday, featured dancing and music.

Notable celebrations took place at the Hesder Yeshiva in Ashkelon, led by Rabbi Avihu Fishdreser, and at the Shvut Shomron Yeshiva, headed by Rabbi Yehoshua Schmidt. The "Ahvat Yisrael" high school yeshiva in Beit Shemesh also hosted an event.

In Ofakim, the Afikei Orות community celebrated with "Heroes of Israel," including Rabbi Shahar Buchazak and Ro'i Chaim Ben Mirav. Graduates of the Bnei Akiva Kiryat Herzog Yeshiva gathered in the sukkah of Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yaakov Gitlman.

Additionally, Rabbi Shlomo Amar and Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion attended a Simchat Beit Hashoeva event at the Horv Yeshiva.
