Israel Celebrates Sukkot With Family Fun and Adult Entertainment
Israel is offering a wide array of activities for families and adults during the Sukkot holiday, with events ranging from interactive robot parks and theatrical performances to culinary festivals and music concerts. These celebrations provide opportunities for both entertainment and cultural engagement across the country.
For families, ROBOPARK in Kiryat Motzkin features a large-scale exhibition of AI-powered robots and robotic animals, alongside a VR film, acrobatics, and various attractions within the Hai-Park complex. The park will operate until October 3rd, with specific hours during the holiday. In Jerusalem, Cinema City is hosting the Lego Animal Paradise exhibition, showcasing animal sculptures made from Lego bricks, along with inflatable attractions, VR cinema, and selfie zones, running until October 2nd. The "Wonderful World of Animals" interactive exhibition has relocated to Yehud, presenting giant animal figures in recreated habitats and focusing on insect life with magnified models, operating until October 3rd.
Theatergoers can enjoy "The Wanderings of Odysseus" at the Gesher Theater, a family-friendly adaptation of Homer's epic, with performances scheduled for September 28th and 29th. For a different kind of spectacle, the HUBA CUBA Cuban Circus, featuring acrobats and dancers without animals, is performing in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park until October 24th, 2026. Additionally, the Arena complex in Herzliya is hosting two major exhibitions: "Journey to Antarctica and the Arctic, Wonders of the Ice World," offering realistic polar animal figures and interactive experiences, and "Balloon Wonderland," a massive display of balloon art created by international artists, featuring castles, figures, and workshops.
Adults have dedicated events as well. Tel Aviv's Hangar 11 will host a giant American diner experience from September 29th to October 2nd, featuring renowned Israeli chefs, live music from popular artists, and a special Sukkot sukkah. Entry is restricted to ages 16 and up, with kosher food options available. Also in Tel Aviv, the Weihenstephan Oktoberfest will take place on Rabin Square from September 29th to October 1st, offering Bavarian cuisine, live music, and the brewery's special Festbier, with free entry.
These diverse events cater to a broad audience, aiming to enhance the holiday experience with a mix of educational, artistic, and entertainment-focused activities throughout the Sukkot break.
