Joyous Sukkot Celebrations Planned Across Israel

Communities and yeshivas across Israel are set to hold "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" (Rejoicing of the Water Drawing) celebrations on Saturday night and the first day of the Sukkot holiday. These events, a traditional part of the Sukkot festivities, will feature musical performances by various singers and orchestras.

In Bnei Brak, multiple locations will host celebrations, including the central synagogue in Shikun Heh, featuring singer Moti Azer and keyboardist Shlomi Nadev, and the "Chemdat Shimon" central synagogue with singer Yitzhak Hagira and his orchestra. Yeshivas Tiferet Zion, Torchin L'Tzeirim, Ataret Yoel, and Kehilot Yaakov will also hold events with live music.

Jerusalem will see celebrations at the Kaminetz Yeshiva with singer Laivi Deutsch and keyboardist Shai Fried, and at the "Ner Yosef" central synagogue featuring singer Yossi Rotner and an expanded orchestra. In Talz Stone, Meshorer Eliyahu Yeshiva will host keyboardist and singer Elkana Breuer.

Other cities with planned events include Petah Tikva, with celebrations at Meshanot HaTalmud Yeshiva and Kehilat Shivat Aaron; Rosh HaAyin at Yeshivat Tzeirim; Bat Yam, including a municipal event at Talmud Torah "Yismach Moshe"; Tel Aviv at Or Yaron Hall; Ashdod at the central stage in Gimmel Quarter; and Ofakim at Yeshivat Ofakim HaKtana and Yeshivat Hamad L'Tzeirim.
