Israir to Launch Direct Flights to Casablanca from Tel Aviv

Israir, the Israeli airline owned by businessman Rami Levy, has applied to operate a weekly direct flight from Ben Gurion Airport (Tel Aviv) to Casablanca, Morocco, starting in early November. This new route, alongside two weekly flights already planned for Marrakech, will offer travelers more flexibility in planning their Moroccan vacations.

The airline intends to run two weekly direct flights to Marrakech from early November until the beginning of January. Concurrently, Israir submitted a request for a weekly direct flight to Casablanca, pending necessary approvals. The addition of Casablanca aims to expand Israir's operations in Morocco and provide passengers with a choice between two distinct destinations within the country.

This dual-destination offering will enable travelers to design open-jaw itineraries, landing in Marrakech and departing from Casablanca, or vice versa, eliminating the need to return to their initial arrival city. The planned flight schedule will accommodate various trip lengths, from short getaways to 9 or 12-night stays, and will cater to independent, extended, and organized tours.

Israir stated, "Israir is working to expand its operations in Morocco and offer its customers more flexible vacation planning options. Alongside the two weekly flights to Marrakech, we have submitted a request to operate a weekly flight to Casablanca. The combination of the two destinations will allow passengers to start their trip in one city and end it in another, enjoying diverse routes and different lengths of stay."
