Israir Plans New Direct Flights to Casablanca, Expanding Morocco Service

Israeli airline Israir is seeking approval to launch a new direct weekly flight to Casablanca, Morocco, in addition to its existing service to Marrakech. The proposed flights are slated to begin in early November and would continue through the end of January. If approved, this expansion would allow travelers to create open-jaw itineraries, flying into one Moroccan city and departing from another, eliminating the need to backtrack.

Currently, Israir operates two weekly flights to Marrakech. The addition of a Casablanca route, pending regulatory approval, would offer Israeli tourists greater flexibility in planning their trips. This allows for vacation durations ranging from short getaways to longer stays of nine or twelve nights, catering to both independent travelers and those on organized tours.

Morocco has become an increasingly popular destination for Israelis since resuming operations, attracting significant interest. The new flight options are expected to further enhance its appeal by providing more convenient travel planning and enabling exploration of multiple cities within a single trip.
