The Israeli military conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon on Sunday night, in response to a drone attack launched against IDF forces operating in the area. According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, the explosive drone was sent by Hezbollah operatives toward the forces in the security zone. No soldiers were injured in the incident.
Among the targeted sites were locations used by Hezbollah operatives for launching explosive drones and anti-tank missiles at IDF forces, as well as other terror infrastructure. The IDF stated that it would continue to act to remove immediate threats and that any use of force from Lebanese territory to harm Israeli civilians or soldiers would be met with a strong response. The military also emphasized its continued commitment to the agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
