IDF Strikes Hezbollah Launch Sites After Drone Attack in Southern Lebanon
Hezbollah terrorists launched an explosive drone targeting Israeli forces operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon early Saturday morning. No Israeli soldiers were injured in the attack. In response, the Israeli Air Force conducted retaliatory strikes against a series of Hezbollah targets, including anti-tank missile launch sites and infrastructure used by the organization.
The IDF stated that it would respond with great force to any attack and emphasized its commitment to removing immediate threats. "The IDF will continue to act to remove immediate threats. Any use of force from Lebanese territory aimed at harming Israeli civilians or IDF forces will be met with great force," a spokesperson for the IDF said. The military also affirmed its commitment to the agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
The strikes were aimed at disrupting Hezbollah's entrenchment and neutralizing immediate threats to Israeli forces in the area. The IDF reiterated its resolve to counter any attempts to harm its soldiers or Israeli civilians.
