Pro-Netanyahu Activist Meni Yitzhak Assif Accuses Protestors of Treason

Meni Yitzhak Assif, a prominent right-wing social media activist and vocal supporter of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, launched an unprecedented verbal attack on anti-government protesters, whom he referred to as the "Kaplan terror organization." Assif's remarks, posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, came amid ongoing social media debates surrounding the October 7th Hamas attacks and claims that Netanyahu was warned beforehand.

Assif directly accused the protesters of threatening the Israeli government and intentionally causing a catastrophe if their demands were not met. "You threatened the Israeli government that if it did not bow to your demands, you would bring a catastrophe. And you brought it. Maliciously. Knowingly. Intentionally," Assif wrote. He further labeled the activists as "sick mobsters" who, along with retired generals, "infiltrators" within the IDF and Shin Bet, "criminal media," and legal backing, aimed to "destroy and ruin" Israel with funding from "hundreds of millions of dollars" from hate organizations in the US and Europe.

Assif asserted that no "false, timed, and funded campaign" could hide this alleged truth, stating, "No Kaplan, no massacre. You are all guilty of the massacre and you must all stand trial." His anger towards the protesters has reportedly intensified in recent days following an incident where an anonymous caller used a blocked number to curse and insult his wife. Assif has indicated he will not let this incident or online slander go unaddressed.
