Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread Raids, Arrests Across West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli forces launched extensive raids and searches across multiple areas of the West Bank and East Jerusalem early Sunday. The operations, which involved confrontations and arrests, saw dozens of homes raided, residents detained, and some subjected to field interrogations after being mistreated. In occupied East Jerusalem, forces arrested political writer and analyst Raseem Obaidat from his home in Jabal Mukaber.

In the Jenin governorate, Israeli forces repeatedly entered the town of Qabatiya, detaining and mistreating several young men, leaving one blindfolded and handcuffed. Raids also occurred in the towns and villages of Arraba, Kafr Thulth, Marka, Umm al-Tut, Beit Qad, Raba, and Bir al-Basha, with numerous homes searched. In Arraba, settlers were seen moving between homes on the town's outskirts while an Israeli special forces unit surrounded a house in the Wadi al-Mardawi area.

In Nablus, Israeli forces entered the city via the Deir Sharaf checkpoint and raided a home on Keshika Street. They also entered the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, where local sources reported the arrest of Mohammed Ubaid from his home in the Qaisariya neighborhood of the Old City.

In the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, forces raided the village of Deir Amar. Clashes erupted in al-Bireh city, where Israeli forces heavily deployed sound grenades. A home in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, was raided and turned into a military outpost.

The incursions extended to the Hebron governorate, with forces raiding the town of Beit Ummar, north of the governorate, and searching a home in the Triangle of al-Tabaqa area, south of Hebron city. Forces also entered the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.
