Woman Rescued After Fire Erupts in Kiryat Bialik High-Rise

A woman sustained minor injuries on Tuesday evening after a fire broke out in a multi-story building in Kiryat Bialik. The building contains commercial spaces, offices, and residential apartments.

According to Kaid Daher, the official spokesperson for Arab media in the Fire and Rescue Services, fire crews responded to a report of heavy smoke emanating from the 12-story building. Upon arrival, firefighters determined that the smoke originated from a fire in an electrical generator.

Crews worked to extinguish the blaze in the generator, clear smoke from the lower floors, and search all levels of the building to ensure no one was trapped. The search resulted in the rescue of one woman, whose condition was described as minor. She was transported for medical treatment.
