Kia Unveils Larger Electric Van, PV7, Slated for Israel in 2027

Kia is expanding its electric commercial vehicle lineup with the introduction of the larger PV7 van, following the earlier PV5 model. The PV7 is anticipated to arrive in Israel during 2027, with an even larger PV9 model planned for the future. The PV7 boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5.35 meters in length, 1.99 meters in width, and 1.99 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 3.50 meters.

Technical specifications reveal a front-wheel-drive electric powertrain producing 272 horsepower and 42.8 kgm of torque, built on an 800-volt architecture. Buyers can choose between a 71.5 kWh or a 96.2 kWh NCM battery, offering a range of up to 460 kilometers (WLTP) for the long-wheelbase commercial version. Fast charging capabilities allow for a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 20 minutes using a 350 kW charger.

The commercial variant will feature a closed cargo area with a capacity of 6,100 liters, expandable to 8,000 liters with a high roof option, and a payload of 1,165 kg. An open-bed version will also be available. Passenger configurations will offer seating for 7, 9, or up to 11 people in Korea. The vehicle supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology.

Interior features include 12.9-inch and 14.6-inch screens, remote automatic parking, comprehensive sensors and cameras, a digital rearview mirror, a built-in dashcam, up to seven airbags, and advanced safety systems. All-wheel drive is expected to be offered in the future.
