Israel Braces for Return of Rain and Cooler Temperatures Mid-Week

This will be accompanied by a considerable cooling trend, with temperatures dropping significantly, especially in mountainous areas and Jerusalem. In these locations, thermometers may fall to around 23 degrees Celsius (73.4 degrees Fahrenheit), marking the lowest temperature since last spring. The cooler weather is expected to persist through the latter half of the holiday, including Simchat Torah. Meteorologists have not ruled out the possibility of renewed precipitation during the final days of the holiday. The forecast indicates that Sunday and most of Monday will remain comfortable and largely dry, with no major weather surprises. However, conditions are expected to change on Monday evening, with the emergence of localized rain in northern Israel, signaling the start of a more unsettled period lasting several days. Tuesday is expected to see an expansion of the precipitation zone.
