Israeli-Russian Couple Detained in Montenegro on Smuggling Charges
A married couple, Alexander (31) and Alexandra (42) Kruglyansky, who hold both Israeli and Russian citizenship, were arrested this week at Tivat Airport in Montenegro. According to authorities, they were attempting to fly to Israel with 26,210 euros, approximately 1,150 shekels, undeclared electronic equipment, and potentially narcotics. Local officials stated that among the seized equipment were devices used for observation and surveillance, as well as communication gear. The couple is suspected of smuggling and money laundering, and their detention has been extended for one month. No official charges of espionage have been filed against them.
