Israel Partners With Intel to Boost AI and STEM Education in Schools

Israel's Ministry of Education and Intel have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in New York to enhance science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), and artificial intelligence (AI) education in Israeli schools. The agreement, signed on Thursday, was attended by Sara Netanyahu, wife of the Prime Minister, Education Minister Yoav Kisch, White House representatives, and senior Intel officials.

This initiative stems from Sara Netanyahu's participation in the "Fostering the Future Together" summit in Washington in March 2026, organized by Melania Trump. The collaboration will involve Intel employees mentoring students and educators, focusing on AI and STEM fields. The Ministry and Intel plan to develop AI-integrated technology curricula, provide mentors for teachers and students, and expand joint activities in schools and local communities.

The partnership will also continue within the framework of the STARTCUP competition. In the previous academic year's competition, four Israeli projects were chosen to be presented at Intel's global AI festival. Sara Netanyahu stated that investing in children today is an investment in Israel's future, aiming to equip students and teachers with knowledge from leading technological innovators. Education Minister Yoav Kisch added that the partnership will enable Israeli students to study AI and technology alongside the engineers developing them.
