Rami Levy Recalls Children's Tricycle Over Safety Concerns

Rami Levy, along with its subsidiary Rami Levy Stock, announced a recall on Friday for a children's "6-in-1" multi-purpose tricycle due to potential safety hazards. The product, manufactured by Lunabo and imported by Orsher Initiative Investments and Real Estate Ltd., was recently put on sale in the chain's stores starting September 23, 2026. The recall was issued "to remove any concern" after information was received about a possible manufacturing defect.

According to the recall notice, a potential malfunction was identified in the rear handle, used by parents to push the toddler. This defect could cause the handle to detach suddenly during use, posing a safety risk to children. Consumers are instructed to immediately stop using the tricycle with the rear handle.

Customers who purchased the tricycle are asked to return the defective product to any Rami Levy or Rami Levy Stock branch. They can choose between a full refund or a repair of the product along with compensation, as per instructions from the store staff.

This recall comes just two days after the chain announced a significant sale on the product, offering it for NIS 249.90, and even lower at NIS 199.90 for those paying with a Rami Levy SuperFly credit card. The tricycle is designed for a child's developmental stages, features easy folding for car trunks, EVA puncture-proof wheels, a sun canopy, a durable frame, and a safety bumper.
