Man Arrested for Sexually Abusing Over 150 Minors Online
Police in Israel have arrested a man in his 30s from the country's north on suspicion of engaging in sexual harassment and indecent acts with minors. The suspect allegedly used WhatsApp and TikTok to contact girls aged 9 to 13, sending them sexually explicit messages and instructing them to perform sexual acts on themselves.
The investigation, led by Unit 105 of the Lahav 433 special crimes unit, began covertly following several reports and complaints received by the police. Authorities believe the suspect utilized online platforms to connect with young girls.
During his interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed to the allegations and admitted to engaging in explicit sexual conversations with approximately 150 underage girls. He also claimed to have deleted all his accounts used for these activities, acknowledging his actions were inappropriate.
The suspect's detention was extended by the Rishon LeZion Magistrate's Court until Sunday, September 27, as the investigation continues to determine the full scope of his alleged offenses and online communications.
