Man Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Abusing 150 Minors Online
Police in northern Israel have arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of sexually harassing and assaulting minors under the age of 14. The suspect allegedly used WhatsApp and TikTok to contact girls aged 9 to 13, sending them sexually explicit messages and instructing them to perform sexual acts on themselves.
The investigation, led by Lahav 433's Unit 105, which specializes in online crimes against minors, began covertly following several reports and complaints. Authorities believe the suspect used social media platforms to connect with young girls.
During his interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed to the allegations and admitted to engaging in explicit sexual conversations with approximately 150 minors. He also mentioned deleting his accounts, stating he knew his actions were improper. The suspect's arrest was extended until Sunday, September 27th, as the investigation continues to determine the full extent of his alleged offenses.
