Electric Cyclist Suffers Severe Head Injury After Jerusalem Fall
A 28-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition after falling from an electric bicycle in Jerusalem overnight. The incident occurred on Herzl Boulevard, where emergency medical teams responded to a report of a road accident.
Upon arrival, responders found the cyclist with a severe head injury and impaired consciousness. Medical personnel from Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah provided initial treatment at the scene, including stopping bleeding, stabilizing the patient, and bandaging wounds.
The injured man was then transported by a Magen David Adom intensive care unit to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where he was admitted to the trauma unit for further care. The cause of the fall is believed to be related to the cycling itself.
