Elderly Man Found Dead in Bnei Brak Apartment After Neighbors Raise Alarm

A man in his 60s was found dead in his apartment on Hebron Street in Bnei Brak on Thursday. Neighbors became concerned after noticing food supplies left outside his door for over 24 hours, which raised their suspicions. They alerted emergency services, who were forced to break into the apartment.

Inside, responders discovered the man deceased. Magen David Adom (MDA) volunteers Menachem Salbutitzky and Itamar Yosef, who attended the scene, stated that MDA's dispatch center received a report about a solitary man who had not made contact. "The neighbors, who noticed the supplies standing outside the door for a long time, worried about his well-being and called for assistance. Upon breaking down the door, the deceased was found without signs of life," they said. They added that they worked with other volunteers to preserve the dignity of the deceased and assisted the police who were present.

Thanks to the efforts of MDA volunteers and relevant authorities, the man's body was released directly for burial and was scheduled to be interred on Thursday evening at the Yarkon Cemetery.
