New Poll Shows Netanyahu Bloc Nearing Knesset Majority

A new i24NEWS poll conducted by Direct Polls indicates that the current coalition government is on the verge of securing a Knesset majority, projecting 60 seats. The opposition is projected to win 47 seats, while Arab parties collectively hold 13 seats. If elections were held today, the Likud party would remain the largest, securing 27 seats. National Unity, led by Gadi Eisenkot, follows with 22 seats. United Torah Judaism and Otzma Yehudit are each projected to receive 8 seats. Yisrael Beiteinu, the Joint List, and Shas are each expected to garner 7 seats. Religious Zionism and Zehut are projected to win 6 seats, as is Ra'am. The poll, collected and analyzed by Direct Polls Ltd. under the leadership of Tzuriell Sharon for i24NEWS on September 24, 2026, surveyed 537 individuals aged 18 and above, representing a sample of the general Israeli population. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.2% at a 95% confidence level.
