New Poll Shows Ben-Gvir Gaining, Lieberman Losing Support

A recent poll conducted by i24NEWS in partnership with Direct Polls, led by Tzuriel Sharon, indicates shifts in the Israeli political landscape. If elections were held today, the Likud party would maintain its position with 27 mandates. The "Yesh!" party, led by Izzy Enkot, would emerge as the second-largest party with 22 mandates.

Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, is projected to gain one mandate, reaching a total of 8. Conversely, Yisrael Beiteinu, led by Avigdor Lieberman, is expected to lose one mandate, also securing 7 mandates. United Torah Judaism and Shas would each retain their current standing with 8 and 7 mandates respectively. The Joint List would remain stable with 7 mandates.

The poll also shows the Religious Zionist Party and Zehut both holding 6 mandates, while Ra'am would gain one mandate to reach 6. Am Israel would lose one mandate, finishing with 4. Parties failing to cross the electoral threshold include HaMiluimnikim and HaKalkalit, with 1.6% of the vote, and several others receiving less than 1%.

According to the survey, the bloc supporting a coalition would garner 60 mandates, the opposition 47, and Arab parties 13. The poll was conducted on September 24, 2026, surveying 537 adults, with a statistical margin of error of 4.2%. The survey was conducted amidst complex security situations and political discussions regarding disqualifications of candidates and parties by the Central Elections Committee.
