Israeli Journalist Attacked by Pro-Palestinian Activist in New York

Israeli Corporation journalist Shahar Glick was attacked by a pro-Palestinian activist while covering the UN General Assembly in New York. The assailant followed Glick, attempted to prevent him from broadcasting, and hurled curses and anti-Israel remarks at him. The attacker documented the incident himself and later posted the video with the caption, "Zionists have no place in New York City."

The video shows the activist disrupting Glick and his cameraman, repeatedly questioning them about Israel and Palestinians, including asking, "Does Palestine have a right to exist?" When the cameraman moved towards police officers, the activist mocked him, saying, "There is no IDF here, sir. They are not here to protect you." He vowed to continue following the crew and prevent them from filming.

During the encounter, the activist chanted "Free Palestine" and cursed Glick and those present, calling them "terrorists." He also stated, "New York stands with Palestine, whether you like it or not." The activist escalated his rhetoric, saying, "Get the Zionists out of here. Your end is coming." He further claimed that Israel's situation would change once the United States stopped providing financial aid, using vulgar language.
