Maccabi Tel Aviv Center Roman Sorkin Agrees to New Four-Year Deal
Roman Sorkin, center for Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball club, has agreed to a new, upgraded contract that will keep him with the team for four additional seasons. Under the terms of the new deal, Sorkin is expected to earn $1.5 million annually. This agreement comes roughly two years after Sorkin initially signed a five-year contract in the summer of 2024, which was valued at $900,000 per season. His salary has seen incremental increases each summer since then, earning approximately $1.1 million in the past season.
Sorkin is currently in his eighth season with Maccabi Tel Aviv. He recently led the team with 16 points in their Super Cup victory over Hapoel Tel Aviv. On Thursday evening, he is set to begin his sixth EuroLeague season with coach Oded Katash's squad in an away game against ASVEL Villeurbanne.
