Hamas Declares Readiness for Gaza Peace Roadmap, Blames Israel for Delays

Hamas announced its readiness to implement a peace roadmap aimed at ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip, while simultaneously accusing Israel and the "Peace Council" of obstructing the process. The group stated it has completed all necessary steps for the plan.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem attributed the delay in the ceasefire agreement and the associated roadmap to the Israeli government's refusal to abide by the terms and its escalation against Gaza's residents. He also cited the "Peace Council" and its representative, Miladinov, for their inability to compel Israel to comply.

Qassem emphasized the need for all parties, particularly the American administration and the "Peace Council," to facilitate the entry of a technocratic committee into Gaza to carry out its duties towards the residents. He also called for the deployment of international forces as stipulated in the agreement.

The agreed-upon roadmap includes steps for a ceasefire, an Israeli withdrawal, the formation of a Palestinian committee to manage Gaza, and the deployment of an international force. Hamas has previously affirmed its commitment to this roadmap and urged all parties and mediators to ensure the implementation of all stages of the ceasefire agreement.
