Israeli Community Reclaims Site of Terror Attack with Renovation

Residents of the Israeli settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Benjamin region have begun significant renovation and expansion work at the Ein Ri'a spring, the site where Nathaniel Karon was murdered. Karon, a father of six from the settlement of Ali Zahav, was killed at the spring in a recent attack.

According to residents, the work is a direct response to the murder and aims to strengthen Jewish presence at the site, demonstrating that the attack will not lead to its abandonment. Participants, including youth and adults from Neve Tzuf, have started constructing a large wooden pergola to provide a shaded seating area for visitors and families, which will also serve as a jumping-off point into the water.

Gilad Arazi, a Neve Tzuf resident involved in the project, told Arutz 7, "We came to renovate the spring, youth of Neve Tzuf and adults, with the goal of strengthening the Jewish hold on the place. We will not be deterred. We call on everyone to come to the spring and strengthen it. Am Yisrael Chai."
