Neve Tzuf Community Leader Vows to Continue Life Despite Attack

Following a severe shooting attack at a spring near the settlement of Neve Tzuf, community secretary Naor Raz stated that residents are not afraid and will continue their lives as usual. Raz, speaking to Kan Moreshet radio, addressed the deadly attack that claimed the life of Natanel Sharoni near the settlement in the Benjamin region.

Raz highlighted the strong connection residents, particularly youth, have with the local nature and springs, noting that the spring where the attack occurred is a central gathering place for the community. He mentioned that youth invest significant time in maintaining the spring, with development and renovation work undertaken there last summer.

During the tense moments after the attack, Raz noted the primary concern was a potential ongoing incident, as the perpetrator fled the scene by car before being apprehended by security forces. However, Raz emphasized the community's resilience, describing it as a vibrant place with families, children, educational institutions, and a lively youth presence, representing a "choice for life."

"We will continue to hike, develop, and build hundreds more housing units," Raz declared, underscoring the community's commitment to growth and normalcy.
