Securities Authority Director General to Depart After 25 Years

Oded Shapira, Director General of the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), announced his decision on Thursday to step down from his position in December. Shapira has served as Director General for seven years and has been with the ISA since 2001, holding various key roles including Deputy Director of Investigations and Intelligence, Head of the Investigations Unit, and the Authority's General Secretary. He was appointed the ISA's first Director General in 2019.

In his statement, Shapira expressed mixed feelings of pride and excitement as he concluded his extensive career at the ISA. He highlighted his 25 years of service across diverse and engaging roles, culminating in the Director General position.
