Tragedy in Kiryat Ata: 12-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Her Sleep
A 12-year-old girl was found unresponsive in her home in Kiryat Ata on Thursday morning after failing to wake up from her sleep. Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the residence on Beit Vagan Boulevard after receiving a report of the unconscious child. Paramedics performed prolonged resuscitation efforts at the scene. Despite their efforts, they were ultimately forced to pronounce the girl deceased. The "Choshen" teams, which provide psychological support, offered assistance to the grieving family. Haim Avni, a paramedic with United Hatzalah, described the scene, stating, "When I arrived, I was told the girl had not woken up from her sleep. We performed prolonged resuscitation efforts with the help of additional paramedics. Unfortunately, after the resuscitation efforts concluded, her death was determined."
