Police Discover Kalashnikov Rifle Hidden Near Nazareth Cemetery
Israeli police on September 22, 2026, discovered a Kalashnikov rifle concealed in an open area near a cemetery in Nazareth. The discovery was made during a police operation following intelligence regarding hidden weapons in the vicinity.
Officers found a pile of stones, and upon digging beneath them, uncovered an animal carcass. After moving the carcass, they found a bag containing the rifle. The weapon was confiscated and sent for forensic analysis to aid in identifying the individual who hid it.
