Liverpool's Szoboszlai Credits Former Salzburg Teammate Munas Dabbur for Early Career Support

Dominik Szoboszlai, the Hungarian midfielder for Liverpool, revealed in a recent interview on the club's official YouTube channel that former teammate Munas Dabbur was instrumental in his early career development. Szoboszlai and Dabbur played together at Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg between 2018 and 2019, a period when Szoboszlai was establishing himself in European football.

Szoboszlai, now at Liverpool after spells with RB Leipzig, recalled Dabbur's significant support during their time in Salzburg. "He is the one who really made it easier for me, because he was there for me every day," Szoboszlai stated. "Even when there was a difficult period, when I had opportunities and couldn't take advantage of them, he was there and helped me."

Dabbur, who has since played for Sevilla and is currently with Al-Ahli Dubai, was a key player for Salzburg during their shared tenure. Szoboszlai emphasized that he remains in contact with Dabbur to this day, highlighting the lasting impact of their professional relationship.
