Security Officer Critically Injured in West Bank Car Ramming Attack

A security officer sustained critical injuries on Wednesday evening in a car ramming attack at a checkpoint on Route 443 in the Benjamin region. The assailant was killed by security forces at the scene. According to police, the attacker intentionally drove his vehicle into a car belonging to the Judea and Samaria police district, which was occupied by the injured officer. The officer was providing initial medical treatment at the scene before being transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for further care. Magen David Adom reported that the victim, a man in his thirties, was unconscious and suffering from head injuries upon arrival at the hospital. The attacker was neutralized by security forces. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
