Soldier Critically Injured in West Bank Car Ramming Attack, Assailant Neutralized

A soldier was critically injured in a car ramming attack on Route 443 near Beit Horon on Monday. The assailant drove his vehicle towards a police car, striking one of the officers, who sustained severe head injuries and was rendered unconscious. Emergency medical services, alongside IDF medical personnel, provided initial treatment before transporting the soldier, who is in his 30s, to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Forces present at the scene immediately neutralized the attacker. Additional police units are en route, and an investigation into the incident has commenced. This attack follows a recent fatal shooting incident on the eve of Yom Kippur, where Natanel Sharon, a resident of Samaria, was killed near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Benjamin region while visiting a spring with his son. The perpetrator of that attack, a resident of the Palestinian village of Biddu, was apprehended alive after a manhunt.
