Police Seize Weapons in Rahat, Charge Two Youths

Israeli police in Rahat, a city in the Negev desert, have confiscated a weapon and ammunition found in a vehicle. The seized items included an M-16-style rifle, four magazines, and dozens of 5.56mm caliber bullets.

Two young men, aged 17 and 20, were apprehended in connection with the discovery. Following an investigation, the prosecution has filed charges against both individuals. They are accused of illegally possessing and transporting the firearm and ammunition.

The legal proceedings are ongoing, with the charges focusing on the unlawful acquisition and movement of the weapons.
