Palestinian Arrested for Inciting Violence, Posting Soldier Image

Israeli security forces arrested a Palestinian man in his 50s on suspicion of incitement to terrorism and supporting a terror organization. The arrest followed an investigation initiated after his social media activity was monitored. According to police, the suspect published inflammatory content, praised terror groups and militants, and shared an edited image of an Israeli soldier with a bullet aimed at her head.

During the operation, soldiers from the IDF and the Border Police raided the suspect's home in the village of Nazlat al-Sharqiyya, located in the West Bank. He was detained and transferred for interrogation by the Shomron District's crime fighting unit. Police stated that during questioning, it emerged the suspect had posted content they claim incites terrorism and glorified the actions of terror organizations.

Among his posts, the suspect allegedly wrote, "By Allah, we will defeat them, and we will make their women mourn, and we will give their children, by Allah, we will expel them humiliated as they came to this land humiliated." In another post, he shared the doctored image of the female soldier with a bullet pointed at her head, accompanied by the caption, "Your prayers for her in her hellish expanses."

Police claim further publications showed the suspect continuing to praise militants and call for them to be followed. Following his interrogation, the suspect was jailed, and authorities intend to seek an extension of his detention for further investigation. The police emphasized that their online monitoring for incitement and terror support continues in cooperation with other security agencies, targeting publications that allegedly encourage violence and glorify terrorists.
