Economic Party Chair Yaron Zelekha Clashes With Panelist on TV Show

Yaron Zelekha, chairman of the Economic Party, was a guest on Channel 14's program 'HaPatriotim' last night, where an interview quickly devolved into a heated exchange. The confrontation escalated between Zelekha and panelist Yaki Adamker following a dispute over Zelekha's commitment to the right-wing bloc. Zelekha declared, 'I am not in Bibi's pocket, I am not in anyone's pocket.' When Adamker attempted to respond, Zelekha interrupted, stating, 'Only an independent person will make Bibi change.' After further commotion in the studio, Adamker quipped to Zelekha, 'Take advice from a friend, for free, when you shout with someone else in the studio, they don't hear you at home.' Zelekha, angered by the remark, shouted back, 'Don't lecture me!' Program host Yinon Magal had to intervene to calm Zelekha down.

This incident follows Zelekha's recent announcement of a political union with Yoaz Hendel to run together in the upcoming Knesset elections. This partnership was formed shortly after Hendel dissolved his partnership with Alon Shuster, who subsequently joined Gadi Eisenkot's 'Yashar' party.
