Political Interview on Channel 14 Erupts into Heated Confrontation

Yaron Zelekha, chairman of the "Ha'Economit" party, was a guest on Channel 14's "HaPatriotim" program last night, where an interview quickly escalated into a fiery exchange. The confrontation occurred between Zelekha and panelist Yaki Adamker following a dispute about Zelekha's commitment to the right-wing bloc. Zelekha declared he was "not in Bibi's pocket, not in anyone's pocket" and asserted that only an independent individual could cause "Bibi to make a change." Adamker attempted to respond, but Zelekha interrupted him. After further commotion in the studio due to the outbursts, Adamker quipped to Zelekha, "Take advice from a friend, for free, when you yell with someone else in the studio, they don't hear you at home." Angered by the remark, Zelekha shouted back, "Don't lecture me!". Program host Yinon Magal had to intervene to calm Zelekha down. This interview follows Zelekha's recent announcement of a political union with Yoaz Hendel to run together in the upcoming Knesset elections, a move made shortly after Hendel dissolved his partnership with Alon Shuster, who then joined Gadi Eisenkot's "Yisrael" party.
