Former Israeli Football Referee Liran Liani Appointed Head of Kfar Saba Sports Council
Kfar Saba Mayor Rafi Sa'ar announced on Tuesday the appointment of former prominent football referee Liran Liani as the new chairman of the Municipal Sports Council. Liani, a resident of Kfar Saba, was a well-regarded referee in the Israeli Premier League for several years.
In his announcement, Sa'ar expressed his pleasure in appointing Liani, describing him as a former international football referee, a Kfar Saba resident, and a respected sports figure with extensive experience. The mayor also noted that the Municipal Sports Council, whose establishment was announced several months ago, will now begin its operations.
